Tres miembros de una familia enfrentan cargos tras tiroteo en South Nashville

(LPL) – Tres miembros de una misma familia de Nashville, la madre y sus dos hijos, enfrentan cargos criminales tras un tiroteo ocurrido el 15 de mayo que dejó a un joven de 19 años gravemente herido, según informó la Policía Metropolitana de Nashville.

El incidente se registró en el área de McMurray Drive y Greenleaf Drive, específicamente en el estacionamiento de los apartamentos McMurray Manor, donde un joven de 19 años y un adolescente de 16 acordaron reunirse para realizar una transacción relacionada con vape pens de THC. Las autoridades indicaron que la situación escaló rápidamente hasta convertirse en un intercambio de disparos.

De acuerdo con la investigación, el menor de 16 años habría disparado una pistola después de que presuntamente se realizaran disparos desde el vehículo conducido por la víctima. Mientras el automóvil huía del lugar, otro individuo habría abierto fuego con un arma automática.

Durante la investigación, los detectives recuperaron un rifle automático oculto en la ventilación de una vivienda en Hasty Drive, donde vivían el menor y su madre, Bianca Ramos, de 36 años. Posteriormente, las autoridades identificaron a otro hijo de Ramos como el presunto autor de los disparos con el rifle.

Ramos enfrenta cargos por posesión de ametralladora y manipulación de evidencia, mientras que sus hijos también fueron acusados en el caso. El proceso judicial continúa en desarrollo.

Three Family Members Face Charges Following South Nashville Shooting

(LPL) – Three members of the same Nashville family—a mother and her two sons—are facing criminal charges following a May 15 shooting that left a 19-year-old man critically injured, according to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.

The incident occurred near McMurray Drive and Greenleaf Drive, specifically in the parking lot of the McMurray Manor apartments, where a 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy had arranged to meet for a transaction involving THC vape pens. Authorities stated that the situation quickly escalated into an exchange of gunfire.

According to the investigation, the 16-year-old fired a handgun after shots were allegedly fired from the vehicle driven by the victim. As the car fled the scene, another individual reportedly opened fire with an automatic weapon.

During the investigation, detectives recovered an automatic rifle hidden in the air vent of a home on Hasty Drive, where the minor and his mother, 36-year-old Bianca Ramos, lived. Authorities subsequently identified another of Ramos’s sons as the person who allegedly fired the rifle.

Ramos faces charges of machine gun possession and tampering with evidence, while her sons have also been charged in the case. Legal proceedings are ongoing.
