Tiroteo en el Walmart de Bartlett del jueves fue por una discusión entre dos empleados

La Policía de Bartlett acudió al Walmart ubicado en la Carretera 64 a las 2:30 p. m. del jueves.

La Policía de Bartlett afirma que el tiroteo se produjo tras un altercado entre dos empleados. La víctima fue trasladada al hospital en estado crítico.

Según la policía, el sospechoso fue detenido sin incidentes.

The shooting at the Bartlett Walmart on Thursday stemmed from an argument between two employees

(LPL) – A Walmart employee is critically injured after being shot by another employee at the Bartlett Supercenter store.

Bartlett Police responded to the Walmart on Highway 64 at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Bartlett PD says the shooting stemmed from an altercation between two employees. Police say the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

According to police, the suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Police say the scene is secure, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.

Bartlett Police said two employees were arguing before the shooting. Investigators haven’t said what the fight was about.

Bartlett Alderman Kevin Quinn says Walmart was closed until further notice. Quinn says the Kate Hyde entrance to the nearby Lowe’s and the New Brunswick entrance to Sam’s Club were open.

“I’m glad she’s still alive, or whatever, but this could have been a scary scene for everyone, just like the incident that happened at Kroger when people got shot and everything else,” said Ashlee Matthews, whose cousin works at Walmart.

The suspected shooter has not been charged, and the Bartlett Police have not released information on the victim’s condition.
