(LPL/WREG) – Un hombre falleció tras un accidente automovilístico ocurrido durante la noche en la Interestatal 40, cerca de la calle Warford, según informa la Policía de Memphis.
Los agentes informaron que poco antes de la medianoche respondieron a un choque entre dos vehículos en la I-40 en dirección este, donde un hombre falleció en el lugar.
Aún se desconoce la causa del accidente.
Poco después de la 1 a. m., se reportó otro accidente en la Interestatal 40, en la calle Warford, según la policía.
La conductora de un Audi A5 declaró que circulaba en dirección oeste por la I-40, en el carril izquierdo, cuando un camión se desvió hacia su carril, lo que provocó que chocara contra un Kia Forte que estaba estacionado en el arcén izquierdo.
No se reportaron heridos y ambos vehículos fueron remolcados.
Los accidentes dejaron tres carriles bloqueados en dirección oeste y los carriles en dirección este completamente bloqueados. Todos los carriles están nuevamente abiertos.

Officers say just before midnight, they responded to a two-vehicle crash on I-40 eastbound, where a man died on the scene.
It is still unclear what caused the crash.
A little after 1 a.m., another wreck was reported on Interstate 40 at Warford Street, police say.
The driver of an Audi A5 says she was driving westbound on I-40 in the far left lane when a truck swerved into her lane, causing her to hit a Kia Forte that was parked on the left shoulder.
No one was reported injured, and both vehicles were towed.
The wrecks left three lanes blocked westbound, and the eastbound lanes completely blocked. All lanes are now back open.
