Acusan a joven de robar 5 tiendas de Memphis en cinco días y llevarse miles de dólares en mercancía

(LPL) – Un joven de 19 años fue arrestado y acusado de participar en una serie de robos en tiendas de Memphis durante cinco días, en los que presuntamente sustrajeron mercancía valorada en más de $11,000, según documentos judiciales.

De acuerdo con una declaración jurada, Justin McGee habría participado junto con otros sospechosos en robos registrados entre el 27 y el 31 de agosto.

El primer incidente ocurrió el 27 de agosto en Marshall’s, en Covington Pike, donde McGee y otro sospechoso presuntamente entraron con bolsas de basura, las llenaron con aproximadamente $450 en calcetines Nike y escaparon. Las cámaras de seguridad captaron sus rostros.

Al día siguiente, en otra tienda Marshall’s de Germantown Parkway, McGee y otro hombre presuntamente llenaron bolsas con mochilas, bolsos, ropa interior y prendas Nike, valoradas en $2,106.

El 29 de agosto, McGee y otros dos hombres llegaron a Ulta Beauty, también en Germantown Parkway. Dos de ellos presuntamente llenaron bolsas con $6,786 en perfumes y productos de belleza, mientras el tercero actuaba como vigilante. Los sospechosos huyeron en una SUV blanca.

El 30 de agosto, McGee y otros dos individuos habrían regresado a la Marshall’s de Covington Pike, donde presuntamente robaron otros $1,800 en mercancía.

Finalmente, el 31 de agosto, el grupo habría entrado a un Circle K y tomado $21 en alcohol antes de escapar en una Lexus blanca.

Tras revisar los videos de vigilancia, los investigadores determinaron que los mismos sospechosos estarían relacionados con los cinco incidentes. La policía también identificó una Lexus RX350 blanca de 2007 con placas de Tennessee vencidas.

McGee enfrenta cinco cargos de robo de propiedad relacionados con la mercancía presuntamente sustraída.

According to an affidavit, Justin McGee allegedly participated alongside other suspects in robberies that took place between August 27 and August 31.

The first incident occurred on August 27 at a Marshall’s on Covington Pike, where McGee and another suspect allegedly entered with trash bags, filled them with approximately $450 worth of Nike socks, and fled. Security cameras captured their faces.

The following day, at another Marshall’s store on Germantown Parkway, McGee and another man allegedly filled bags with backpacks, handbags, underwear, and Nike apparel valued at $2,106.

On August 29, McGee and two other men arrived at Ulta Beauty, also on Germantown Parkway. Two of them allegedly filled bags with $6,786 worth of perfume and beauty products, while the third acted as a lookout. The suspects fled in a white SUV.

On August 30, McGee and two other individuals allegedly returned to the Marshall’s on Covington Pike, where they reportedly stole another $1,800 worth of merchandise.

Finally, on August 31, the group allegedly entered a Circle K and took $21 worth of alcohol before fleeing in a white Lexus.

After reviewing surveillance footage, investigators determined that the same suspects were linked to all five incidents. Police also identified a white 2007 Lexus RX350 with expired Tennessee license plates.

McGee faces five counts of theft of property related to the allegedly stolen merchandise.
