Arrestan a cuatro hombres vinculados a presunta banda de robos en Nashville

(LPL) – Cuatro hombres hispanos fueron arrestados en Nashville tras ser vinculados a un presunto grupo responsable de una serie de robos, informó el Departamento de Policía Metropolitana de Nashville.

Las detenciones ocurrieron luego de un asalto a un mercado en Foster Avenue, donde un sospechoso disparó al aire mientras exigía dinero antes de huir con efectivo en una camioneta Nissan Rogue. Gracias a videos de vigilancia, detectives lograron ubicar el vehículo en Harding Place, donde arrestaron inicialmente a José Luis Martínez, de 54 años.

Con apoyo aéreo, las autoridades siguieron el vehículo cuando intentó escapar, logrando capturar posteriormente al conductor, Luis Martínez-Martínez, de 34 años, y al pasajero Rigoberto Martínez, de 32, tras huir a pie. Durante la persecución, se recuperaron un arma de fuego y dinero robado.

Investigaciones posteriores llevaron al hallazgo de más de 15 mil dólares, una escopeta y fentanilo en un apartamento vinculado a Martínez-Martínez. Además, un cateo en una vivienda en Keeley Drive resultó en el arresto de Rubén Pérez Camacho, de 33 años, por posesión de drogas.

Los tres principales sospechosos enfrentan cargos por robo agravado y permanecen detenidos con una fianza de 80 mil dólares cada uno. La policía no descarta presentar más cargos en relación con otros robos recientes.

Four Men Linked to Alleged Robbery Ring Arrested in Nashville

(LPL) – Four men were arrested in Nashville after being linked to an alleged group responsible for a series of robberies, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department reported.

The arrests followed a robbery at a market on Foster Avenue, where a suspect fired a gun into the air while demanding money before fleeing with cash in a Nissan Rogue SUV. Thanks to surveillance footage, detectives were able to locate the vehicle on Harding Place, where they initially arrested José Luis Martínez, 54.

With air support, authorities tracked the vehicle as it attempted to escape, subsequently capturing the driver—Luis Martínez-Martínez, 34—and the passenger—Rigoberto Martínez, 32—after they fled on foot. During the pursuit, a firearm and stolen money were recovered.

Further investigations led to the discovery of more than $15,000, a shotgun, and fentanyl in an apartment linked to Martínez-Martínez. Additionally, a search of a residence on Keeley Drive resulted in the arrest of Rubén Pérez Camacho, 33, for drug possession.

The three primary suspects face charges of aggravated robbery and remain in custody on $80,000 bond each. Police have not ruled out filing additional charges in connection with other recent robberies.
