Guardia de seguridad muere al intentar detener una pelea afuera de un club nocturno en Hickory Hill

(LPL) – Un guardia de seguridad murió la mañana del lunes tras recibir un disparo mientras intentaba intervenir en una pelea afuera de un club nocturno en el área de Hickory Hill, informó el Departamento de Policía de Memphis.

El incidente ocurrió poco antes de las 4:30 a.m. en el estacionamiento del establecimiento, donde se desató una discusión entre varias personas al cierre de la noche. De acuerdo con las autoridades, el guardia trató de controlar la situación cuando uno de los involucrados sacó un arma de fuego y abrió fuego.

La víctima fue trasladada de urgencia a un hospital cercano, donde posteriormente fue declarada muerta a causa de las heridas.
Testigos relataron que el tiroteo provocó momentos de pánico entre quienes se encontraban en el lugar. Incluso, uno de ellos aseguró que varios disparos impactaron su vehículo mientras intentaba ponerse a salvo.

Hasta el momento, la policía no ha revelado la identidad del guardia fallecido ni ha informado sobre arrestos relacionados con el caso. Los investigadores continúan revisando videos de vigilancia y entrevistando a testigos para identificar al responsable del ataque.

El tiroteo se suma a la serie de hechos violentos registrados en Memphis durante las últimas semanas y mantiene bajo investigación las circunstancias que llevaron al enfrentamiento.

Security guard dies while trying to break up a fight outside a Hickory Hill nightclub

(LPL) – A security guard died Monday morning after being shot while attempting to intervene in a fight outside a nightclub in the Hickory Hill area, the Memphis Police Department reported.

The incident occurred shortly before 4:30 a.m. in the establishment’s parking lot, where an argument broke out among several people as the night was ending. According to authorities, the guard tried to bring the situation under control when one of the individuals involved pulled out a gun and opened fire.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
Witnesses recounted that the shooting caused panic among those present. One witness even stated that several bullets struck his vehicle while he was trying to get to safety.

So far, police have not released the identity of the deceased guard nor reported any arrests related to the case. Investigators are continuing to review surveillance footage and interview witnesses to identify the person responsible for the attack.

The shooting adds to a series of violent incidents recorded in Memphis in recent weeks, and the circumstances leading to the confrontation remain under investigation.
