(LPL/FOX13) – Un hombre resultó gravemente herido en un tiroteo tras salir del trabajo en Whitehaven, informó el Departamento de Policía de Memphis (MPD).
Los agentes acudieron al tiroteo en la cuadra 4800 de Millbranch Road alrededor de las 11:15 p. m.
Al llegar los agentes, encontraron a un hombre con heridas de bala en la espalda y el pecho, según la policía. El hombre declaró a la policía que caminaba a casa desde su trabajo en McDonald’s cuando dos desconocidos gritaron su nombre antes de disparar. El hombre afirmó haber escuchado tres o cuatro disparos. Según la policía, huyó de los disparos y comenzó a sentir dolor en el pecho, al darse cuenta de que le habían disparado.
El hombre fue trasladado al Hospital Regional Uno en estado crítico, según el MPD.
Un hombre que dijo estar sentado en su patio en ese momento declaró a la policía que escuchó tres o cuatro disparos y, antes de que el hombre disparara, corrió a su casa pidiendo ayuda.
El MPD encontró tres casquillos y un proyectil de bala en un camino de entrada cerca del McDonald’s.

Man seriously injured in Whitehaven shooting after leaving work
(LPL/WREG) – A man was seriously injured in a shooting after leaving work in Whitehaven, the Memphis Police Department (MPD) said.
Officers responded to the shooting at the 4800 block of Millbranch Road around 11:15 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds to his back and chest, police said. The man told police he was walking home from his job at McDonald’s when two unknown men yelled his name before firing shots. The man said he heard three or four shots. According to police, he ran from the gunfire and started to feel pain in his chest, realizing he was shot.
The man was taken to Regional One in critical condition, MPD said.
A man who said he was sitting on his patio at the time, told police he heard three or four shots and before the man shot came running to his home asking for help.
MPD found three shell casing and a bullet projectile in a driveway near the McDonald’s.
