Overton Park Shell anuncia su cartelera de otoño y celebrará el Mes de la Herencia Hispana con música y cultura

(LPL) – El histórico Overton Park Shell dio a conocer la programación de su serie gratuita de conciertos para el otoño de 2026, una temporada especial que coincide con la celebración de los 90 años de este emblemático escenario de Memphis. La cartelera incluye festivales, conciertos tributo, eventos culturales y actividades comunitarias entre septiembre y octubre.

Entre todos los eventos anunciados, destaca la celebración del Mes de la Herencia Hispana, programada para el viernes 3 de octubre. La jornada estará dedicada a reconocer y celebrar las contribuciones de la comunidad latina en Memphis a través de la música, la cultura y la convivencia familiar.

El evento contará con las presentaciones de Cumbia Brothers y DJ Mala Leche, quienes llevarán al escenario ritmos latinos para que tanto la comunidad hispana como el público en general disfruten de una noche de baile, entretenimiento y unión cultural.

La celebración forma parte del compromiso de Overton Park Shell de ofrecer programación diversa y accesible para todos los residentes de Memphis, utilizando la música como una herramienta para conectar comunidades y fomentar la inclusión.

La cartelera de otoño también incluye eventos como Metal Museum Metal Night el 4 de septiembre, el Memphis PowerPop Festival el 5 de septiembre, el Festival de Blues Country de Memphis el 25 de septiembre, un tributo a Marvin Gaye el 19 de septiembre y presentaciones de Drivin N Cryin, Opera Memphis y Shakespeare at the Shell durante octubre.

Overton Park Shell Announces Fall Lineup and Will Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Music and Culture

(LPL) – The historic Overton Park Shell has unveiled the schedule for its free concert series for the fall of 2026—a special season that coincides with the celebration of the iconic Memphis venue’s 90th anniversary. The lineup features festivals, tribute concerts, cultural events, and community activities throughout September and October.

A highlight among the announced events is the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, scheduled for Friday, October 3. The day will be dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the contributions of the Memphis Latino community through music, culture, and family-friendly activities.

The event will feature performances by Cumbia Brothers and DJ Mala Leche, who will bring Latin rhythms to the stage, inviting both the Hispanic community and the general public to enjoy a night of dancing, entertainment, and cultural unity.

This celebration reflects Overton Park Shell’s commitment to offering diverse and accessible programming for all Memphis residents, using music as a tool to connect communities and foster inclusion.
