Policía busca a un sospechoso de disparle a otra persona la madrugada del jueves en Orange Mound

(LPL/FOX13) – La policía está en la búsqueda de un hombre armado que huyó tras disparar a una persona la madrugada del jueves en Orange Mound.

Según el Departamento de Policía de Memphis (MPD), la llamada de emergencia por el tiroteo se recibió poco después de las 12:30 a. m. en una casa de la calle Ethel, cerca de la avenida Park. Los investigadores determinaron que una persona resultó herida de bala y posteriormente fue trasladada a una estación de bomberos en la avenida Lamar.

Las heridas de la víctima no revisten gravedad, informó la policía. El MPD no reveló de inmediato el género de la persona herida.

El MPD indicó que los investigadores descubrieron que el sospechoso, un hombre, huyó corriendo hacia el bulevar Airways tras el tiroteo.

Police are searching for a suspect in the shooting of another person early Thursday morning in Orange Mound

(LPL/FOX13) – Police are looking for a gunman who took off running after he shot someone early Thursday morning in Orange Mound.

According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), the shooting call came in just after 12:30 a.m. to a home on Ethel Street, just off Park Avenue. Investigators learned that one person was shot and later dropped off at a fire station on Lamar Avenue.

The victim’s injuries were not considered life-threatening, police said. MPD did immediately release the gender of the person who was shot.

MPD said investigators the suspect — a man — took off running toward Airways Boulevard after the shooting.
