DeSoto County teacher charged with child porn possession

(LPL/WREG) – Un maestro de la Escuela Primaria Central DeSoto fue arrestado el martes por posesión de pornografía infantil.

Mitchell Cantrell fue incluido en la Cárcel del Condado de DeSoto.

La Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de DeSoto informó que la Policía de Southaven recibió un aviso de que Cantrell estaba descargando pornografía infantil entre el 10 y el 14 de marzo. Fue arrestado con la ayuda de la Policía de Olive Branch.
Cantrell figura como maestro de quinto grado en la Escuela Primaria Central DeSoto.

No hay estudiantes involucrados en este incidente, informó la Policía de Southaven.

(LPL/WREG) –A DeSoto Central Elementary School teacher was arrested Tuesday on a charge of possession of child pornography.

Mitchell Cantrell was listed in the DeSoto County Jail.

The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office said that Southaven Police received a tip that Cantrell was downloading child pornography between March 10 and 14. He was arrested with help from Olive Branch Police.
Cantrell is listed as a fifth-grade teacher at DeSoto Central Ementary.

No students are involved with this incident, Southaven Police said.
