Recuperan ambulancia robada en Raleigh; sospechosa sigue prófuga

(LPL/WREG) – Una mujer sospechosa se encuentra prófuga después de que, según la policía de Memphis, una ambulancia privada fuera robada de un hospital en Raleigh la noche del jueves.

Los agentes informaron que, alrededor de las 8:35 p. m., acudieron a atender un reporte de robo de vehículo en el hospital Methodist North, ubicado en el 3960 de Covington Pike.

Poco después, recibieron información de que la ambulancia se encontraba en la zona de Covington Pike y Raleigh LaGrange. Mientras inspeccionaban esa área, se actualizó la ubicación del vehículo a Summer Avenue.

Fue entonces cuando los agentes avistaron la ambulancia robada en la calle National, cerca de Summer; sin embargo, perdieron el rastro del vehículo.
La policía indicó que, durante las labores de búsqueda, la ambulancia robada fue localizada en la cuadra 3400 de Summer Avenue.
Actualmente, las autoridades intentan localizar a la sospechosa.

Stolen ambulance in Raleigh recovered, female suspect at large

(LPL/WREG) – A female suspect is on the run after police say a private ambulance was stolen from a hospital in Raleigh on Thursday night, according to Memphis Police.

Officers say around 8:35 p.m., they responded to an auto theft at Methodist North Hospital on 3960 Covington Pike.

Shortly afterwards, officers say they received information that the ambulance was in the area of Covington Pike and Raleigh LaGrange. Once they began to check that area, the location of the ambulance was updated to Summer Avenue.

That is when officers spotted the stolen ambulance on National near Summer; however, they say they lost sight of it.
Police say that during their search efforts, the stolen ambulance was found in the 3400 block of Summer Avenue.
Now, police say they are trying to locate a female suspect.
This is still an active and ongoing investigation.
