Man storms into grocery store with rifle, fires shot near cashier during robbery, MPD says
(LPL/WMC) – El Departamento de Policía de Memphis está buscando al hombre que robó la tienda Supermercado Guatemala 502 en Parkway Village el sábado.
Los oficiales respondieron al robo en 4322 Winchester Road poco después de la 1 p.m. La policía dice que un hombre entró al negocio armado con un rifle estilo AR, apuntó con el arma al cajero y exigió dinero de la caja registradora.
Se puede ver al sospechoso en un video proporcionado por el MPD, apuntando el arma al piso y disparando un tiro al suelo junto al cajero.
El cajero le dio el dinero al sospechoso y él huyó del negocio, alejándose en un Honda Pilot plateado de cuatro puertas.
El MPD describe al sospechoso como un hombre de aproximadamente 30 años de complexión mediana. Se lo vio con una máscara negra, una camiseta azul de manga larga, jeans azules y tenis negros y rojos.

(LPL/WMC) – The Memphis Police Department is searching for the man who robbed a Parkway Village grocery store on Saturday.
Officers responded to the robbery at 4322 Winchester Road at Supermercado Guatemala 502 just after 1 p.m. Police say a man walked into the business armed with an AR-style rifle, pointed the gun at the cashier, and demanded money from the cash register.
The suspect can be seen in a video provided by the MPD, pointing the gun at the floor and firing one shot into the ground next to the cashier.
The cashier gave the suspect the money and he fled the business, driving away in a silver four-door Honda Pilot.
The MPD describes the suspect as an approximately 30-year-old man with a medium build. He was seen wearing a black face mask, a blue long-sleeve T-shirt, blue jeans, and black and red tennis shoes.
