El Departamento de Policía de Memphis (MPD) informó que dos personas recibieron disparos en la cuadra 2000 de la calle Castalia, pero fueron localizadas en la cuadra 2000 de East Person alrededor de las 5:30 p. m.
Una persona fue declarada fallecida en el lugar de los hechos y la otra fue trasladada al hospital en estado crítico.
Los investigadores señalaron que la información preliminar sugiere que la víctima y el sospechoso se conocían.

(LPL) – Police are investigating a double shooting in the Castalia Heights area Tuesday night that left one person dead.
MPD said two people were shot in the 2000 block of Castalia Street, but were located in the 2000 block of East Person at around 5:30 p.m.
One person was pronounced dead on the scene, and another was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Investigators said preliminary information suggests that the victim and suspect knew each other.
