Vuelven los fuegos artificiales al río y más: Eventos del 4 de julio en Memphis

(LPL) – Memphis se prepara para una vibrante celebración del Día de la Independencia, con festividades programadas en toda el área del Medio-Sur. Ya sea en el corazón de la ciudad o en los suburbios, sobran las opciones para disfrutar el 4 de julio este 2025.

Las actividades comienzan temprano, este 27 de junio en Arlington, en el Sport Complex. El evento incluirá puestos de comida y música en vivo, que culminarán con un espectáculo de fuegos artificiales al final de la noche.

La celebración continúa en Bartlett el 3 de julio, con el Fireworks Extravaganza en el Centro Municipal Bobby K. Flaherty de 6 a 9:30 p.m. Las familias podrán disfrutar música en vivo con la banda Seeing Red, food trucks y un espectacular show de fuegos artificiales a partir de las 9:10 p.m.

En Collierville, también el 3 de julio, se celebrará el Día de la Independencia en el Parque H.W. Cox, con uno de los espectáculos de fuegos artificiales más grandes de la región. Las puertas se abren a las 6 p.m., la música en vivo inicia a las 6:30 p.m. y los fuegos se lanzarán a las 9:30 p.m. La entrada es gratuita y habrá venta de comida.

Millington se adelanta aún más con el Flag City Freedom Celebration el 2 de julio en el aeropuerto Millington-Memphis. Las puertas abren a las 6 p.m. y habrá inflables para niños, DJ en vivo y fuegos artificiales justo después de las 9 p.m.

En el mismo Bartlett, Liberty Park será sede del Liberty for All Festival el 3 de julio de 5 a 9 p.m., con actividades familiares, vendedores locales y fuegos artificiales para cerrar la noche.

Germantown celebrará el 4 de julio con su tradicional festival en el Parque Municipal, comenzando a las 5 p.m. con música en vivo de la Memphis Wind Symphony y fuegos artificiales cerca de las 9:10 p.m. Se recomienda llevar sillas o mantas para disfrutar del espectáculo.

En Midtown Memphis, la Asociación de Central Gardens realizará su querido desfile anual el 4 de julio por la avenida Belvedere a partir de las 9 a.m., con bandas de música, bluegrass en vivo, hot dogs y paletas gratis hasta el mediodía.

Fourth of July Festivities Return to the River and Beyond in Memphis

(LPL) – Memphis is gearing up for a vibrant Independence Day celebration, with festivities planned throughout the Mid-South. Whether in the heart of the city or in the suburbs, there are plenty of options to enjoy the Fourth of July in 2025.

Activities begin early, this June 27 in Arlington, at the Sports Complex. The event will include food vendors and live music, culminating in a fireworks show at the end of the evening.

The celebration continues in Bartlett on July 3, with the Fireworks Extravaganza at the Bobby K. Flaherty Municipal Center from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Families can enjoy live music by the band Seeing Red, food trucks, and a spectacular fireworks show starting at 9:10 p.m.

In Collierville, also on July 3, Independence Day will be celebrated at H.W. Cox, with one of the largest fireworks shows in the region. Gates open at 6 p.m., live music starts at 6:30 p.m., and the fireworks will be launched at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free, and food will be available for purchase.

Millington is getting even more ahead of itself with the Flag City Freedom Celebration on July 2 at the Millington-Memphis Airport. Gates open at 6 p.m. and there will be inflatables for children, a live DJ, and fireworks just after 9 p.m.

In Bartlett, Liberty Park will host the Liberty for All Festival on July 3 from 5 to 9 p.m., with family activities, local vendors, and fireworks to close out the evening.

Germantown will celebrate the Fourth of July with its traditional party in City Park, beginning at 5 p.m. with live music from the Memphis Wind Symphony and fireworks around 9:10 p.m. Bringing chairs or blankets is recommended to enjoy the show.

In Midtown Memphis, the Central Gardens Association will hold its beloved annual Fourth of July parade down Belvedere Avenue starting at 9 a.m., with marching bands, live bluegrass music, and free hot dogs and popsicles until noon.

For baseball fans, the Memphis Redbirds will play at AutoZone Park on July 4 and 5, with postgame fireworks and children’s activities.

Finally, downtown Memphis will come alive on July 4 starting at 6 p.m. with the Independence Day on the River event. River Garden Park, Fourth Bluff Park, and parts of Riverside Drive will be transformed into a free celebration featuring food trucks, live music, games, and, after several years of absence, the return of fireworks over the Mississippi River, which will be launched from the Mud Island side at 9 p.m.

From neighborhood parades to lights on the water, Memphis is ready to celebrate freedom with the unique style of the Bluff City.
