Un hombre muere y otros dos resultan heridos en accidente en el sur de Memphis

(LPL) – Un hombre murió y otros dos resultaron heridos tras un accidente de tránsito ocurrido la noche del miércoles en el área de Oakhaven, informó el Departamento de Policía de Memphis (MPD).

El accidente ocurrió alrededor de las 7:10 p.m. en el bloque 2400 de East Holmes Road, donde estuvieron involucrados dos vehículos.

De acuerdo con la policía, un Nissan Maxima que circulaba hacia el este por East Holmes Road se encontraba en los carriles destinados al tránsito hacia el oeste cuando chocó de frente contra un Dodge Ram que viajaba en dirección oeste.

Los equipos de emergencia acudieron al lugar y encontraron a tres hombres involucrados en el accidente. Uno de ellos murió en la escena a causa de las lesiones sufridas.

Los otros dos hombres fueron trasladados a un hospital para recibir atención médica. La policía indicó que ambos se encontraban en condición no crítica.

El accidente provocó el cierre de East Holmes Road en ambas direcciones, entre Airways Boulevard y Tchulahoma Road, mientras los investigadores trabajaban en la escena y recopilaban evidencia para determinar exactamente cómo ocurrió el choque.

(LPL) – A man died and two others were injured following a traffic accident Wednesday night in the Oakhaven area, the Memphis Police Department (MPD) reported.

The crash occurred around 7:10 p.m. in the 2400 block of East Holmes Road and involved two vehicles.

According to police, a Nissan Maxima traveling east on East Holmes Road was in the westbound lanes when it collided head-on with a westbound Dodge Ram.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found three men involved in the accident. One of them died at the scene from his injuries.

The other two men were transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Police stated that both were in non-critical condition.

The crash forced the closure of East Holmes Road in both directions between Airways Boulevard and Tchulahoma Road while investigators worked at the scene and gathered evidence to determine exactly how the collision occurred.
