Unidentified men raid Memphis home, scaring family
(LPL/FOX13) – Una mujer dijo estar aterrorizada después de que un grupo de hombres que se identificaron como policías irrumpiera en su casa la semana pasada.
“Estaba indefensa. Estaba indefensa”, dijo a FOX13.
Un video de vigilancia afuera de su puerta muestra el momento en que estos hombres con armas largas llegaron a una casa en el este de Memphis y entraron a la fuerza.
La mujer dijo que estaba en casa con su hijo de 12 años cuando sucedió: “No me siento segura. No me siento segura en mi propio pueblo, donde he vivido desde que nací y crecí aquí”.
Aunque los hombres se identificaron como policías, la Policía de Memphis dijo que no eran agentes de la Policía de Memphis. La mujer dijo que preguntó para qué era la orden judicial, pero no recibió respuesta.
Compartió un video de celular de los hombres que filmó mientras estaban dentro de su casa. Se la puede oír gritar: “¡Salgan de mi casa! Por favor, salgan de mi casa. No tienen derecho, no tienen derecho a estar aquí”.
La mujer declaró que se preguntaba si los hombres eran agentes del Servicio de Inmigración y Control de Aduanas (ICE). Dijo que su esposo es inmigrante, pero que ya no está con él.
“No me siento segura en casa. Mis hijos no se sienten seguros. No voy a regresar y me siento impotente aquí afuera. Ya no quiero estar aquí”, dijo. “Pensé que todos íbamos a morir. Pensé que todos íbamos a morir”.
FOX13 contactó a ICE para verificar si los hombres son agentes federales. Un portavoz nos informó el lunes por la tarde que estaba investigando el caso.

(LPL/FOX13) –A woman said she is terrified after a group of men who identified themselves as police forced their way into her home last week.
“I was helpless. I was helpless,” she told FOX13.
Surveillance video outside her door shows the moment these men with large weapons arrived at an East Memphis home and forced their way inside.
The woman said she was home with her 12 children when it happened: “I don’t feel safe. I don’t feel safe in my own town that I’ve been in since I’ve been born and raised here.”
Although the men identified themselves as police, Memphis Police tell FOX13 these are not Memphis Police officers. The woman said she asked what their warrant was for but did not get a response.
She shared cell phone video of the men she filmed while they were inside her home. You can hear her yelling, “Leave my house. Please leave my house. You have no right, you have no right to be here.”
The woman told FOX13 she wondered if the men were Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. She said her husband is an immigrant, but she is not with him anymore.
“I do not feel safe at home. My kids don’t feel safe. I’m not going back, and I feel helpless out here. I don’t want to be here anymore,” she said. “I thought all of us were going to die. I thought all of us was going to die.”
FOX13 reached out to ICE to see if the men are federal officers. A spokesperson told us Monday afternoon he was looking into it.
