Asfura amplía su ventaja sobre Nasralla en Honduras al acercarse el cierre del conteo

(LPL/EN) – El candidato presidencial del conservador Partido Nacional de Honduras, Nasry Asfura, por quien ha apostado el presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, encabeza los resultados de las elecciones generales del 30 de noviembre, al acercarse el cierre de la primera fase del escrutinio, en la que ha ampliado su ventaja sobre Salvador Nasralla, del Partido Liberal.

Con 98,77 % de las actas escrutadas, Asfura se impone con 1.291.320 votos (40,53%), mientras que Nasralla (ambos conservadores), suma 1.247.554 papeletas (39,16%).
En el tercer lugar cierra la candidata oficialista del Partido Libertad y Refundación (Libre, izquierda), Rixi Moncada, con 615.712 votos (19,32%), según registros del Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE) hasta las 09:00 pm hora local.

En la primera fase del conteo, que está por finalizar, Asfura supera a Nasralla por 43.766 votos, el doble de la marca que registraba doce horas antes.
El escrutinio, que ha tenido varias interrupciones -la última de tres días- continuará con más de 2.750 actas con inconsistencias, que se sumarán a las 16.178 correctas que registra la página web del ente electoral.

Las actas inconsistentes, que podrían superar los 500.000 votos, van a un escrutinio especial que se podría iniciar entre el martes y miércoles con la presencia de representantes de los partidos políticos, del CNE, observadores nacionales e internacionales; de la empresa auditora del proceso electoral y fiscales.

El escrutinio especial se hará en dos turnos diarios de 12 horas cada uno.

He has extended his lead over Salvador Nasralla of the Liberal Party.

With 98.77% of the ballots counted, Asfura leads with 1,291,320 votes (40.53%), while Nasralla (both conservatives) has 1,247,554 votes (39.16%).
