Dos empleados roban más de $98,000 en Superlo Foods, según la policía

(LPL/WMC) – El Departamento de Policía de Memphis arrestó y acusó a dos empleados tras presuntamente robar miles de dólares a su empleador.

El 25 de marzo, los agentes respondieron a una denuncia de robo presentada por el supervisor del Superlo Foods en Winchester Road.

Según la declaración jurada, el supervisor informó a la policía que uno de los empleados, posteriormente identificado como Kevin Hervey, anulaba los pagos en efectivo de los clientes.

La gerente durante el turno de Hervey, Tamika Nowley, también anulaba transacciones en la tienda y falsificaba informes.
Tras una investigación más exhaustiva, los agentes descubrieron que Nowley anulaba los alimentos, le daba el dinero a Hervey y le permitía irse con ellos.

La declaración jurada indica que la tienda sufrió una pérdida de $98,647.75.

El 1 de julio, Hervey y Nowley fueron detenidos y ahora enfrentan cargos por robo de propiedad.

2 workers steal over $98k from Superlo Foods, police say

(LPL/WMC) – The Memphis Police Department has arrested and charged two employees after they allegedly stole thousands of dollars from their employer.

On March 25, officers responded to a theft report from the supervisor of the Superlo Foods on Winchester Road.

According to the affidavit, the supervisor told police that one of the employees, later identified as Kevin Hervey, was voiding customers’ cash payments.

The manager during Hervey’s shift, Tamika Nowley, was also voiding store transactions and falsifying reports.
Upon further investigation, officers learned that Nowley would void food items, give Hervey the cash, and allow him to leave with the items.

The affidavit says that the store suffered a loss of $98,647.75

On July 1, Hervey and Nowley were taken into custody and are now facing charges for theft of property.
