Dos hombres heridos en tiroteos en Summer Ave, Hickory Hill

(LPL/WREG) – Un hombre de 75 años y otro de 58 resultaron heridos tras dos tiroteos separados en la zona de Binghampton y Hickory Hill, según el Departamento de Policía de Memphis.

Los agentes afirman haber respondido al primer tiroteo en Motorcycle Machine, ubicado en el número 3010 de Summer Avenue, alrededor de las 9:40 p. m. Un hombre de 75 años fue encontrado tendido en el suelo con una herida de bala.

Posteriormente, fue trasladado al Hospital Regional One en estado crítico.
Un testigo declaró a la policía que todo comenzó cuando un sospechoso, conocido como “Hollywood”, entró al negocio buscando a la víctima.

Hollywood presuntamente esperó a la víctima afuera durante casi diez minutos antes de abrir una puerta en la parte trasera del negocio y gritar.

Fue entonces cuando, según el testigo, consiguió a la víctima para Hollywood y luego regresó al negocio. Luego, afirma haber escuchado a la víctima gritar, seguido de cuatro o cinco disparos. El Departamento de Policía de Minneapolis (MPD) afirma que las imágenes de video captaron al sospechoso apuntando a la víctima con una pistola plateada a corta distancia, apuntándole intencionalmente a la parte inferior de la pierna izquierda.

El sospechoso vestía una gorra de béisbol blanca, una camisa negra, pantalones deportivos negros y zapatillas naranjas, y tenía tatuajes en ambos brazos.

Fue visto por última vez conduciendo hacia el norte por la calle Franklin.
El segundo tiroteo se reportó en una gasolinera Exxon en Hickory Hill Road y Winchester Road poco antes de las 00:30.
Los oficiales afirman que un tirador desde un vehículo disparó varias veces en dirección a la gasolinera, impactando el negocio, el auto de la víctima y a un hombre de 58 años.

Las imágenes de video en el lugar de los hechos muestran una camioneta Mercedes-Benz blanca de cuatro puertas que se detiene frente a un surtidor de gasolina, seguida de un Mustang GT gris, según la policía. Ambos conductores se conocían y aparecen en el video en un altercado físico.

Poco después, la policía afirma que las imágenes de video captaron un sedán cupé blanco con capota negra pasando y comenzando a disparar en dirección a la gasolinera.

Al llegar la policía, la víctima fue trasladada al Hospital Regional One en estado crítico.

2 men injured in shootings on Summer Ave, Hickory Hill

(LPL/WREG) – A 75-year-old man and a 58-year-old man were left injured after two separate shootings in the Binghampton and Hickory Hill area, according to the Memphis Police Department.

Officers say they responded to the first shooting at Motorcycle Machine on 3010 Summer Avenue around 9:40 p.m. A 75-year-old man was found lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was then taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
A witness told police it all started when a suspect, known as “Hollywood”, came inside the business looking for the victim.

Hollywood allegedly waited on the victim outside for almost ten minutes before opening a gate at the back of the business and yelling.

That is when the witness says he got the victim for Hollywood and then went back inside the business. He then says he heard the victim screaming, followed by four or five gunshots.
MPD says video footage captured the suspect pointing a silver handgun at the victim from close range and intentionally aiming for the victim’s left lower leg.

The suspect was wearing a white baseball cap, a black shirt, black jogger pants, and orange slippers, with tattoos on both arms.

He was last seen heading northbound on Franklin Street.
The second shooting was reported at an Exxon gas station on Hickory Hill Road and Winchester Road just before 12:30 a.m.
Officers say a drive-by shooter fired several shots in the direction of the gas station, striking the business, the victim’s car, and a 58-year-old man.

Video footage at the scene showed a white four-door Mercedes-Benz SUV pull up to a gas pump, followed by a gray Mustang GT, police say. Both of the drivers knew one another and were seen on the video in a physical altercation.

Shortly afterwards, police say video footage captured a white sedan coupe with a black top drive by and began firing shots in the direction of the gas station.

When police arrived, the victim was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
