Eventos y Distribuciones Gratuitas de Comida Esta Semana de Día de Acción de Gracias en Memphis

(LPL/ABC24) – Con la llegada del Día de Acción de Gracias, diversas organizaciones del Mid-South están redoblando esfuerzos para que ninguna familia se quede sin celebrar. Desde cajas de comida hasta comidas calientes y eventos especiales, Memphis ofrece múltiples opciones de apoyo para quienes lo necesiten durante esta semana festiva.

MEMFEAST

La Ciudad de Memphis, junto a socios comunitarios, realizará varias distribuciones de cajas de alimentos antes del feriado y ofrecerá una comida caliente el mismo Día de Acción de Gracias.

BLVD’s MEMGIVING

Antes conocido como MemFeast, Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church amplía su apoyo ante el aumento de la necesidad comunitaria. El pastor Rev. Dr. J. Lawrence Turner señala que la demanda del programa Manna Outreach ha crecido casi un 80% debido a los recientes recortes federales.

El evento MEMgiving ofrecerá comidas calientes, accesorios de invierno y cajas de alimentos en varias sedes el miércoles 26 de noviembre:

Free Meals and Food Distributions This Thanksgiving Week in Memphis

(LPL) – With Thanksgiving approaching, organizations across the Mid-South are working to ensure that every family has a chance to enjoy the holiday. From food boxes to hot meals and special community events, Memphis is offering multiple forms of support for anyone in need during this festive week.

MEMFEAST
The City of Memphis and its community partners will hold several food box distributions leading up to the holiday and will provide a hot meal on Thanksgiving Day.

BLVD’s MEMGIVING
Formerly known as MemFeast, Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church is expanding its support this year as community needs continue to rise. Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. J. Lawrence Turner says the church’s Manna Outreach program has seen nearly an 80% increase in families seeking assistance following recent federal cuts.
