Influencers y activistas del movimiento MAGA (por las siglas en inglés de Make America Great Again, “Hacer a Estados Unidos grande de nuevo”) expresaron su desacuerdo con la decisión de darle esta plataforma a un artista que ha sido crítico de Trump y que canta en español.
Tal es el descontento que Corey Lewandowski, aliado de Trump y asesor del Departamento de Seguridad Nacional (DHS), dijo este miércoles que agentes de ICE, el Servicio de Inmigración y Control de Aduanas de Estados Unidos, estarán presentes en el show.
“No hay ningún lugar donde se pueda brindar refugio a quienes se encuentran en este país ilegalmente”, dijo Lewandowski en el programa The Benny Show.
“Ni en el Super Bowl ni en ningún otro lugar. Los encontraremos, los arrestaremos, los meteremos en un centro de detención y los deportaremos”.
El show de medio tiempo de la final de la NFL (liga profesional de fútbol americano) es una de las presentaciones musicales más vistas en Estados Unidos y suele consagrar al artista que lo da como uno de los más grandes de su época.
En una publicación en su cuenta de X de cerca de 4 millones de seguidores, el comentarista y YouTuber Benny Johnson calificó al artista puertorriqueño como un “enemigo acérrimo de Trump” y un “activista en contra de ICE”.
Y agregó: “la NFL se está autodestruyendo año tras año”.
Nick Adams, un comentarista que se describe a sí mismo como “el autor favorito del presidente Trump” y que recientemente se anunció que ocupará la embajada de EE.UU. en Malasia, dijo que la elección de Bad Bunny es “una cachetada en la cara para la abrumadora mayoría de estadounidenses que apoyaron a Donald Trump”.
Adams llamó al movimiento MAGA a boicotear el Super Bowl y propuso al cantante Kid Rock como alternativa.

Such is the discontent that Corey Lewandowski, a Trump ally and advisor to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), said Wednesday that agents from ICE (the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency) will be present at the show.
“There is nowhere to provide refuge for those who are in this country illegally,” Lewandowski said on The Benny Show.
“Not at the Super Bowl or anywhere else. We will find them, arrest them, put them in a detention center, and deport them.”
The NFL halftime show is one of the most-watched musical performances in the United States and often crowns the artist who performs it as one of the greatest of their time.
In a post on his X account, which has nearly 4 million followers, commentator and YouTuber Benny Johnson called the Puerto Rican artist a “sworn enemy of Trump” and an “anti-ICE activist.”
He added: “The NFL is self-destructing year after year.”
Nick Adams, a commentator who describes himself as “President Trump’s favorite author” and who recently announced he will occupy the US embassy in Malaysia, said that Bad Bunny’s selection is “a slap in the face to the overwhelming majority of Americans who supported Donald Trump.”
Adams called on the MAGA movement to boycott the Super Bowl and proposed singer Kid Rock as an alternative.
