Hombre es acusado de disparar contra la madre de su hijo durante fiesta de cumpleaños

(LPL) – El Departamento de Policía de Memphis (MPD) arrestó y acusó a un hombre de 32 años señalado de dispararle a la madre de su hijo durante una fiesta de cumpleaños.

De acuerdo con una declaración jurada, los agentes respondieron el 16 de agosto a un reporte de tiroteo ocurrido en un estudio de danza ubicado en Austin Peay Highway.

Al llegar, los oficiales encontraron a una mujer que presentaba una aparente herida de bala. Según el documento, la víctima dijo a la policía que había sido baleada por el padre de su hijo.

El sospechoso fue identificado como Shavos Butler. La declaración jurada señala que Butler y la mujer tuvieron una discusión en el exterior del lugar donde se celebraba la fiesta de cumpleaños de la madre de Butler.

Durante la disputa, Butler presuntamente sacó un arma de fuego y disparó contra la mujer.

Butler fue posteriormente detenido y enfrenta cargos por agresión agravada, intento de asesinato en primer grado y violencia doméstica.

El sospechoso permanece detenido bajo una fianza fijada en $500,000.

Las acusaciones contenidas en la declaración jurada corresponden a la versión presentada por las autoridades y deberán ser determinadas en el proceso judicial.

Man accused of shooting his child’s mother during birthday party in Memphis

(LPL) – The Memphis Police Department (MPD) arrested and charged a 32-year-old man accused of shooting the mother of his child during a birthday party.

According to an affidavit, officers responded on August 16 to a report of a shooting at a dance studio on Austin Peay Highway.

Upon arrival, officers found a woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. According to the document, the victim told police she had been shot by her child’s father.

The suspect was identified as Shavos Butler. The affidavit states that Butler and the woman got into an argument outside the venue where Butler’s mother’s birthday party was being held.

During the dispute, Butler allegedly pulled out a firearm and shot the woman.

Butler was subsequently taken into custody and faces charges of aggravated assault, attempted first-degree murder, and domestic violence.

The suspect remains in custody on a $500,000 bond.

The allegations contained in the affidavit reflect the version of events presented by authorities and will be determined during judicial proceedings.
