Una mujer declaró a la policía que su hijo había recibido disparos. El hombre fue encontrado con una herida de bala en el estómago que salió por la espalda, y dos en el brazo derecho.
Posteriormente, fue trasladado al Hospital Regional One en estado crítico.
El gerente del club de blues B.B. King’s, ubicado en el número 143 de la calle Beale, declaró a los agentes que se encontraba en su oficina, en la parte trasera del edificio, cuando oyó los disparos. Afirma que dos balas impactaron en su oficina, impactando en el techo y la pared.

(LPL/WREG) – A man was critically injured after being shot in downtown Memphis as thousands gathered for 901 Day celebrations Monday night.
Officers say they responded to the corner of Beale Street and South Main around 10:15 p.m. regarding a shooting call.
A woman told police that her son had been shot. The male victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound to his stomach that exited his back, and twice in his right arm.
He was then taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
The manager of B.B. King’s Blues Club on 143 Beale Street told officers that he was in his office in the back of the building when he heard the shots being fired. He says two rounds went into his office, hitting the ceiling and the wall.
Several witnesses on the scene also told officers that the suspect was a man wearing a white t-shirt and a black backpack. Video footage was provided to officers.
