Menor enfrenta cargo por violación agravada en caso de agresión en escuela St. George’s de Collierville

(LPL) – Un adolescente de 14 años fue acusado formalmente a través del tribunal juvenil en el marco de la investigación por agresión sexual en la St. George’s Independent School, informó el Collierville Police Department. El menor enfrenta un cargo por violación agravada y fue trasladado a custodia del Shelby County Sheriff’s Office el martes 25 de noviembre. La policía confirmó que recibió el primer reporte del plantel escolar el 6 de noviembre, relacionado con una agresión que habría ocurrido el 8 de octubre en un edificio deportivo del campus, después del horario escolar. Posteriormente, el 12 de noviembre, una segunda víctima se presentó ante las autoridades para denunciar otro presunto ataque ocurrido el 12 de septiembre. Los investigadores consideran que ambos casos estarían vinculados al mismo sospechoso.

Como parte de la investigación, el 14 de noviembre se ejecutaron cuatro órdenes de cateo, dos en el condado de Shelby y dos en Olive Branch. En este último lugar, el Olive Branch Police Department arrestó a dos personas por manipulación de evidencia, mientras que un tercer individuo enfrenta cargos no relacionados por delitos de drogas.

Las autoridades informaron que, en total, tres estudiantes están bajo investigación por su posible relación con estos hechos. Tras conocerse las denuncias, la escuela expulsó a varios alumnos y colocó al director del plantel, Luke Pruett, en licencia administrativa temporal.

Teen Faces Aggravated Rape Charge in St. George’s School Assault Case

(LPL) – A 14-year-old male has been formally charged through juvenile court in connection with the sexual assault investigation at St. George’s Independent School, according to the Collierville Police Department. The teen faces a charge of aggravated rape and was transported to the custody of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, November 25. Due to his age, authorities have not released his identity.

Police confirmed they received the initial report from school officials on November 6 regarding an alleged assault that occurred on October 8 inside an athletic facility on campus after school hours. On November 12, a second victim came forward to report another alleged assault that took place earlier, on September 12. Investigators believe both incidents are connected to the same suspect.

As part of the investigation, four search warrants were executed on November 14 — two in Shelby County and two in Olive Branch. In Olive Branch, the Olive Branch Police Department charged two individuals with evidence tampering, while another person faces unrelated drug charges.

Authorities confirmed that a total of three students are under investigation in connection with this case. Following the allegations, multiple students were expelled, and the school’s head, Luke Pruett, was placed on temporary administrative leave.

The investigation remains ongoing, and police say additional updates will be released as more information becomes available.
