Un muerto y una mujer herida tras accidente en la I-240 de Memphis

(LPL) – Un hombre murió y una mujer resultó herida tras un accidente de tránsito ocurrido durante las primeras horas de la mañana de este lunes 10 de agosto en la Interestatal 240, en Memphis.

De acuerdo con el Departamento de Policía de Memphis (MPD), los oficiales fueron enviados alrededor de las 4:16 a.m. a la I-240 Sur, cerca de Person Avenue, tras recibir el reporte de un accidente que involucró a dos vehículos.

Al llegar al lugar, los agentes encontraron a dos personas afectadas por el choque. Un hombre fue declarado muerto en la escena debido a las lesiones sufridas.

Una mujer que también resultó herida fue trasladada a un hospital del área para recibir atención médica. Las autoridades indicaron que sus lesiones no son de gravedad y se espera que se recupere.

Por el momento, las autoridades no han informado qué provocó el accidente ni han determinado las circunstancias exactas que llevaron a la colisión. La investigación permanece activa mientras los detectives trabajan para establecer cómo ocurrió el choque.

One Dead, Woman Injured After Crash on I-240 in Memphis

(LPL) – A man died and a woman was injured following a traffic accident early Monday morning, August 10, on Interstate 240 in Memphis.

According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), officers were dispatched around 4:16 a.m. to southbound I-240 near Person Avenue after receiving a report of a two-vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, officers found two people affected by the collision. A man was pronounced dead at the scene due to his injuries.

An injured woman was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment. Authorities stated that her injuries are not life-threatening and she is expected to recover.
