Según el Departamento de Policía de Memphis (MPD), los sospechosos abrieron fuego contra la vivienda de los Apartamentos Summit Park en Pine Hollow Drive tras una discusión con un hombre que vive allí.
El MPD indicó que sus hijos y su madre estaban dentro, pero no fueron alcanzados.
Unos 20 minutos después, el hombre fue encontrado en una casa en Westwood, según la policía. El MPD indicó que el hombre tenía “lesiones visibles”, pero no quiso que lo examinaran ni lo trasladaran a un hospital.
El hombre declaró a los investigadores que, tras el tiroteo, condujo unos 9.6 kilómetros hasta la casa de su tía, pero proporcionó pocos detalles sobre lo que provocó el tiroteo. “La víctima declaró que no vio nada más”, declaró el MPD.

(LPL/FOX13) – Police are searching for three suspects in ski masks who shot up a Whitehaven apartment Monday night.
According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), the suspects opened fire on the home at the Summit Park Apartments on Pine Hollow Drive after an argument with a man who lives there.
MPD said his kids and their mother were inside but were not hit.
About 20 minutes later, that man was found at a home in Westwood, police said. MPD said the man had “visible injuries” but he did not want to be checked out or transported to a hospital.
The man told investigators that after the shooting, he drove about 6 miles to his aunt house but provided limited details about what led to the gunfire. “Victim stated that he didn’t see anything else,” MPD said.
Investigators found several cars near the Whitehaven apartment complex were damaged by the gunfire, police said.
