Hombre apuñalo a su padrastro en el cuello tras incidente en la planta de Volvo en Mississippi

(LPL/WREG) – Un hombre se encuentra bajo custodia después de que las autoridades informaran que apuñaló a su padrastro el miércoles en una planta de Volvo cerca de Byhalia, Misisipi.

Según la Oficina del Sheriff del condado de Marshall, un padrastro y su hijastro se encontraban dentro de un automóvil cuando una discusión verbal se tornó violenta. Los agentes afirman que el hijastro apuñaló al padrastro en el cuello con un cuchillo de cocina.

Según los investigadores, el hijastro tomó entonces el automóvil del padrastro e intentó abandonar el lugar, pero chocó contra otro vehículo mientras intentaba huir. Los agentes llegaron rápidamente y ordenaron al hijastro que saliera del vehículo, pero este se negó.

Las autoridades señalan que, ante la negativa, los agentes utilizaron una pistola Taser y procedieron a detenerlo.
Los agentes del condado de Marshall informan que se espera que el hijastro sea acusado de agresión con agravantes y que podría enfrentar cargos adicionales.

El padrastro se encuentra en condición estable.

Man Stabs Stepfather in the Neck Following Incident at Volvo Plant in Mississippi

(LPL/WREG) – A man is in custody after authorities reported that he stabbed his stepfather on Wednesday at a Volvo plant near Byhalia, Mississippi.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, a stepfather and his stepson were inside a car when a verbal argument turned violent. Deputies state that the stepson stabbed the stepfather in the neck with a kitchen knife.

According to investigators, the stepson then took the stepfather’s car and attempted to leave the scene but crashed into another vehicle while trying to flee. Deputies arrived quickly and ordered the stepson to exit the vehicle, but he refused.

Authorities note that, following the refusal, deputies deployed a Taser and proceeded to take him into custody.
Marshall County deputies report that the stepson is expected to be charged with aggravated assault and could face additional charges.
The stepfather is in stable condition.
