Hombre hispano es acusado por la muerte de una mujer encontrada en Parkway Village

(LPL) – Un hombre hispano fue arrestado y acusado de asesinato luego de que una mujer fuera encontrada sin vida la tarde del miércoles en una vivienda del vecindario de Parkway Village, en Memphis.

El acusado fue identificado como Darvin López, de 28 años, quien enfrenta un cargo de asesinato en segundo grado, informó la Policía de Memphis.

De acuerdo con las autoridades, los agentes respondieron alrededor de las 3:40 p.m. a un reporte de una persona fallecida en una residencia ubicada en la cuadra 3200 de Kayla Blue Cove East.

Al llegar al lugar, los oficiales encontraron a una mujer muerta dentro de la vivienda. En la escena también fue localizado un hombre, quien fue detenido mientras los detectives iniciaban la investigación.

Tras reunir evidencia y entrevistar a testigos, los investigadores determinaron que existía causa probable para arrestar a Darvin López, quien posteriormente fue acusado de asesinato en segundo grado.

Hasta el momento, la Policía de Memphis no ha revelado la identidad de la víctima, ni ha informado cuál era la relación entre ella y el acusado o las circunstancias que rodearon el homicidio.

Las autoridades tampoco han dado a conocer la causa oficial de la muerte, ya que la investigación continúa en desarrollo.

Darvin López permanece bajo custodia mientras enfrenta el proceso judicial. Se espera que en los próximos días comparezca ante un juez para responder formalmente al cargo que se le imputa.

(LPL) – A Hispanic man was arrested and charged with murder after a woman was found dead Wednesday afternoon at a home in the Parkway Village neighborhood of Memphis.

The accused has been identified as 28-year-old Darvin López; he faces a charge of second-degree murder, Memphis Police reported.

According to authorities, officers responded around 3:40 p.m. to a report of a deceased person at a residence in the 3200 block of Kayla Blue Cove East.

Upon arrival, officers found a woman dead inside the home. A man was also found at the scene and was detained while detectives began their investigation.

After gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses, investigators determined there was probable cause to arrest Darvin López, who was subsequently charged with second-degree murder.

So far, Memphis Police have not released the victim’s identity, nor have they disclosed the relationship between her and the accused or the circumstances surrounding the homicide.

Authorities have not yet announced the official cause of death, as the investigation is ongoing.

Darvin López remains in custody pending legal proceedings. He is expected to appear before a judge in the coming days to formally answer to the charge against him.
