Local restaurant broken into for the second time in four months

(LPL/WREG) – Los dueños de negocios locales expresaron su frustración tras el vandalismo en su negocio por segunda vez en menos de cuatro meses.

“Estoy cansada. Simplemente estoy cansada de esto porque es realmente desalentador intentar seguir adelante”, dijo Tabitha Cole.

Tabitha y su esposo, Loard, se disponían a irse a dormir cuando recibieron una notificación de que su negocio, Hillboyz Wing and Burger Bar, había sido asaltado.
En el video de vigilancia, se puede ver a dos sospechosos caminando junto al negocio, usando un martillo para romper todas las ventanas.
Según los Cole, no se robó nada y los sospechosos no entraron al restaurante.

Afirmaron desconocer quién fue el responsable del vandalismo.
“Si supiéramos o tuviéramos algún problema con alguien, podríamos dirigir esa acción o decidir qué hacer a partir de ahora, pero podría ser cualquiera”, dijo Tabitha Cole.

Los dueños dijeron que habían reemplazado las ventanas hace apenas tres semanas.

El reemplazo se realizó después de que alguien irrumpiera en su restaurante en diciembre.
Loard Cole dijo que les costó alrededor de $30,000 reemplazar las ventanas la última vez.

Si tengo que pagar a un guardia de seguridad para que esté aquí de noche, entonces eso es lo que tengo que hacer —dijo—. Pero no dejaré que nadie me quite lo que Dios me dio.

Cole dijo que, a pesar de la reciente adversidad, está decidido a mantener su restaurante abierto.

“No me van a obligar a mudarme. No me van a obligar a cerrar mi negocio. No les daré ese lujo”, dijo Loard Cole. “No les daré la satisfacción de que pudieron hacer esto y creen que van a ganar”.

(LPL/WREG) – Local business owners are voicing their frustration after their business was vandalized for the second time in less than four months.

“I’m tired. I’m just tired of this because it’s really discouraging to try to keep moving on,” Tabitha Cole said.

Tabitha and her husband, Loard, were preparing to go to bed, they got a notification that their business, Hillboyz Wing and Burger Bar, had been broken into.
In surveillance video, two suspects can be seen walking alongside the business, using a hammer to bust out every window.
According to the Coles, nothing was stolen and the suspects didn’t go inside the restaurant.

They claimed that they didn’t know who was responsible for the vandalism.
“If we knew or had any beef with anybody, we could actually direct that energy or figure out what to do from here, but it could be anybody,” Tabitha Cole said.

The owners said they just replaced the windows three weeks ago.

The replacement came after someone broke into their restaurant back in December.
Loard Cole said it cost them around $30,000 to replace the windows last time.
f I got to pay a security guard to be here at night, then that’s what I have to do,” he said. “But I won’t let anybody take what God gave to me.”

Cole said that despite the recent adversity, he’s determined to keep his restaurant open.

“They not gone make me move. They not gone make me close my business. I won’t give them that luxury,” Loard Cole said. “I won’t give them that satisfaction that they could do this and they think they’re going to win.”
