(LPL) – In May, Memphis will once again become the epicenter of music, culture, and celebration with the highly anticipated Riverbeat Music Festival, taking place May 2–4 at the newly renovated Tom Lee Park along the powerful Mississippi River. This festival promises to be one of the year’s most exciting events—not only because of its impressive music lineup but also for its deep connection to the community and Memphis’s rich musical legacy.

Riverbeat will feature more than 50 international stars and local talent across five distinct stages. Headliners include the legendary Missy Elliott, the iconic rock band The Killers, and the electrifying Anderson .Paak with The Free Nationals. They’ll be joined by artists like Khruangbin, Busta Rhymes, Steve Aoki, Cage the Elephant, Public Enemy, and Ludacris, covering genres from hip-hop and rock to indie and electronic—offering a soundscape as diverse as Memphis itself.

But Riverbeat will be more than music. Nightly firework shows and immersive light experiences will dazzle the crowds. By day, festivalgoers can enjoy large-scale art installations, a riverfront Ferris wheel, and an exciting array of food from around the world—including classic Southern BBQ, tamales, and dishes inspired by Latin and Asian cultures.
