Incendio en centro comercial de Crump Boulevard causa daños por valor de $195,000

(LPL/WMC) – El Departamento de Bomberos de Memphis fue llamado a atender un incendio masivo el jueves por la noche.

A las 7:40 p. m., los bomberos respondieron a un incendio en un edificio ubicado en 410 E.H. Crump Boulevard. El incendio se produjo en un gran centro comercial vacío de una sola planta, conocido como Metro Shopping Plaza.

Fire at Crump Boulevard strip mall causes $195,000 in damage

(LPL/WMC) – The Memphis Fire Department was called to a massive fire on Thursday evening.

At 7:40 p.m., fire crews responded to a building fire at 410 E.H. Crump Boulevard. The fire occurred in a large, vacant, single-story strip mall known as the Metro Shopping Plaza.

Fire crews arrived to find heavy flames in the interior rear of the building.

During firefighting operations, part of the roof collapsed.
At this time, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Damage is estimated at $195,000 to the structure. No contents were inside the building.

One firefighter sustained a non-critical ankle injury and was transported for treatment.
