Alumno de la escuela Hamilton-K8 apuñaló a otro estudiane con un lápiz

(LPL) – Un nuevo incidente violento se registró este jueves en la escuela Hamilton K-8; un estudiante apuñaló con un lápiz a otro durante una pelea en un salón de educación especial, informaron el Departamento de Policía de Memphis (MPD) y las Escuelas de Memphis-Shelby (MSCS).

Según el reporte, la pelea comenzó cuando dos alumnos discutieron más temprano en el día. Aproximadamente a las 10 a.m., uno de ellos, sentado cerca de la puerta, tomó un lápiz y lo clavó en el brazo del otro al regresar al aula, perforándole la piel. Luego continuaron con una discusión cara a cara, que terminó con el primero golpeando al segundo en el rostro. La madre del agresor lo recogió de la escuela; la víctima fue atendida en el plantel, se encuentra en buen estado de salud, y continuará con sus clases como de costumbre. La madre de la víctima declinó presentar cargos.

Este hecho constituye al menos el segundo apuñalamiento reportado en Hamilton K-8 en los últimos seis meses. En febrero pasado, una niña de 11 años apuñaló a otra de 10 en la espalda con un cuchillo de cocina, durante el almuerzo en la misma escuela. El incidente fue provocado por una discusión que se prolongó desde redes sociales, y la víctima fue hospitalizada con heridas no críticas.

Hamilton K8 student stabbed another student with a pencil

(LPL) – Another violent incident was reported Thursday at Hamilton K-8, where a student stabbed another with a pencil during a fight in a special education classroom, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD) and Memphis-Shelby County Schools (MSCS).

Police said the altercation started earlier in the day when two students got into an argument. Around 10 a.m., one of them, who was sitting near the door, grabbed a pencil and stabbed the other student in the arm as he returned to the classroom, puncturing his skin. The two then argued face-to-face before the first boy hit the second in the face. The aggressor’s mother came to pick him up from school. The victim was treated on campus, is in good health, and will continue attending classes as usual. The victim’s mother declined to press charges.

This marks at least the second stabbing reported at Hamilton K-8 in the past six months. Back in February, an 11-year-old girl stabbed a 10-year-old classmate in the back with a kitchen knife during lunch at the same school. Police said the attack followed an argument that started on social media. The victim was hospitalized with non-critical injuries.
