Ataque con cuchillo en restaurante hondureño deja a un hombre en estrado crítico: atacante le cortó el cuello a la víctima mientras comía

(LPL) – Un hombre hispano le cortó el cuello a otro dentro de un restaurante hondureño en el área de Nutbush durante la madrugada del jueves, según reportó la Policía de Memphis.

El sospechoso, identificado como Fernando Delgado-Hernandez, de 23 años, fue arrestado en la escena y ahora enfrenta cargos por intento de asesinato en segundo grado y asalto agravado. Cuando los oficiales llegaron al restaurante Rincon Catracho, en Wells Station, encontraron a la víctima con una grave herida en el cuello y lo trasladaron de inmediato al hospital en condición crítica.

De acuerdo con el affidavit, las cámaras de seguridad captaron el momento en que la víctima estaba sentada con una mujer cuando Delgado-Hernandez se acercó por detrás y le cortó el cuello. En el lugar, el joven admitió el ataque al decir: “Yo lo hice”. La mujer presente también lo identificó como el agresor.

La policía no ha indicado qué originó el ataque ni ha brindado una actualización del estado de la víctima. Delgado-Hernandez deberá presentarse en corte el próximo lunes.

Knife attack at Honduran restaurant leaves man in critical condition: attacker slashed victim’s throat while eating

(LPL) – A Hispanic man slashed another man’s throat inside a Honduran restaurant in the Nutbush area early Thursday morning, Memphis police reported.

The suspect, identified as 23-year-old Fernando Delgado-Hernandez, was arrested at the scene and now faces charges of second-degree attempted murder and aggravated assault. When officers arrived at Rincon Catracho restaurant in Wells Station, they found the victim with a severe neck wound and immediately transported him to the hospital in critical condition.

According to the affidavit, security cameras captured the moment the victim was sitting with a woman when Delgado-Hernandez approached from behind and slashed his throat. At the scene, the young man admitted to the attack, saying, “I did it.” The woman present also identified him as the assailant.

Police have not indicated what prompted the attack or provided an update on the victim’s condition. Delgado-Hernandez is scheduled to appear in court next Monday.
