(LPL/FOX13) – For the first time in over three decades, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has unveiled a new headquarters in Memphis. The agency officially inaugurated its new office at Germantown Court, in the Cordova area, marking a significant step in modernizing its operations within the region.
During an open house event, federal and local officials toured the new facilities, which are designed to bolster investigative capabilities and enhance inter-agency coordination throughout the Mid-South. As agency leaders explained, this new space will allow for the optimization of resources, better integration of technology, and a more effective response to current security challenges.
Terrence G. Riley, the Special Agent in Charge of the Nashville Division, highlighted that the new headquarters will facilitate closer collaboration with state, local, and federal partners—particularly in efforts to reduce violent crime. In this regard, he underscored the importance of joint initiatives such as the Memphis Safe Task Force, which has played a pivotal role in the fight against crime within the city.
