(LPL/EN) – El presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, afirmó que el miércoles mantuvo una “conversación muy buena” con el presidente ruso, Vladimir Putin, en la que hablaron más de Ucrania que de Irán.

“Hablamos más sobre la guerra en Ucrania”, declaró Trump a los periodistas en el Despacho Oval. El presidente añadió que Putin quiere “ayudar” a poner fin a la guerra de Estados Unidos e Israel contra Irán, pero que él le pidió al líder ruso que primero ponga fin a la invasión de Ucrania.

El asesor diplomático del Kremlin, Yuri Ushakov, también confirmó la información:

“Los presidentes prestaron especial atención a la situación relacionada con Irán y el golfo Pérsico”, declaró.

“Vladimir Putin considera que la decisión de Donald Trump de extender el alto el fuego con Irán es la correcta, ya que esto debería dar una oportunidad a las negociaciones y, en general, ayudar a estabilizar la situación”, precisó.

Entre tanto, se conoció que el presidente ruso, Vladimir Putin, advirtió a su homólogo estadounidense de las “consecuencias dañinas” que tendría una nueva acción militar en Irán.

Putin “destacó las consecuencias inevitables y extremadamente dañinas, no solo para Irán y sus vecinos, sino también para toda la comunidad internacional, en caso de que Estados Unidos e Israel recurran una vez más a las acciones militares”, afirmó Ushakov.

(LPL/EN) – U.S. President Donald Trump stated that on Wednesday he held a “very good conversation” with Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which they discussed Ukraine more than Iran.

“We talked more about the war in Ukraine,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. The President added that Putin wants to “help” put an end to the war waged by the United States and Israel against Iran, but that he asked the Russian leader to first end the invasion of Ukraine.

The Kremlin’s diplomatic advisor, Yuri Ushakov, also confirmed the information:

“The presidents paid special attention to the situation regarding Iran and the Persian Gulf,” he stated.

“Vladimir Putin considers Donald Trump’s decision to extend the ceasefire with Iran to be the right one, as this should provide an opportunity for negotiations and, in general, help stabilize the situation,” he noted.

Meanwhile, it emerged that Russian President Vladimir Putin warned his U.S. counterpart of the “harmful consequences” that a new military action in Iran would entail.

Putin “highlighted the inevitable and extremely harmful consequences—not only for Iran and its neighbors, but also for the entire international community—should the United States and Israel once again resort to military actions,” Ushakov affirmed.
