Hombre muere apuñalado a pocos pasos de la sede de la Policía de Memphis

(LPL) – Un hombre murió tras ser apuñalado durante una discusión ocurrida la noche del lunes a pocos pasos de la sede del Departamento de Policía de Memphis (MPD), en pleno Downtown.

El incidente ocurrió poco después de las 11 de la noche, en el bloque 200 de North Main Street, una zona ubicada muy cerca de la sede central de MPD, el Cannon Center for the Performing Arts y el edificio del Federal Reserve Bank.

La cercanía del lugar con la estación principal de la Policía de Memphis destaca en un caso que terminó con una persona muerta y que ahora es investigado por los propios detectives de MPD.

Según la información preliminar proporcionada por la policía, la víctima y el sospechoso tuvieron inicialmente una discusión verbal que posteriormente escaló hasta convertirse en un enfrentamiento violento.

Man Stabbed to Death Steps Away from Memphis Police Headquarters

(LPL) – A man died after being stabbed during an argument late Monday night, just steps away from the Memphis Police Department (MPD) headquarters in the heart of downtown.

The incident occurred shortly after 11 p.m. in the 200 block of North Main Street, an area located very close to MPD headquarters, the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts, and the Federal Reserve Bank building.

The proximity of the scene to the main Memphis police station is a notable detail in a case that resulted in a fatality and is now being investigated by MPD detectives.

According to preliminary information provided by the police, the victim and the suspect initially engaged in a verbal argument that subsequently escalated into a violent confrontation.
