(LPL) – The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported the success of a large operation carried out in San Antonio, Texas, specifically inside a clandestine after-hours nightclub located in the southern area of the city, near the South Flores Street corridor and an industrial zone often used for illicit nighttime activity. The establishment, which operated without permits, was already known to authorities as a frequent gathering spot for members of the Tren de Aragua.
The operation was led by the Homeland Security Task Force, headed by ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the FBI, with support from 14 local, state, and federal agencies. In total, more than 150 undocumented immigrants were arrested, including 27 suspected Tren de Aragua members. Authorities also seized multiple doses of cocaine, three firearms, and approximately $35,000 in cash found inside the club and in vehicles connected to the suspects.
The intervention took place on November 16, 2025, after federal agents executed a search warrant following months of surveillance. Among those arrested were two individuals under investigation for human smuggling and money laundering, as well as one person being investigated by the DEA for cocaine trafficking.
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin emphasized that the operation successfully removed dozens of individuals with possible criminal ties from the streets and strengthens the government’s strategy to curb the expansion of the Tren de Aragua and the flow of dangerous drugs into Texas and other states.
