(LPL) – Un tiroteo registrado la tarde de este martes en Shelby Farms Park generó una fuerte movilización de autoridades y dejó a un adolescente muerto, según reportes preliminares.

De acuerdo con información inicial, un joven de 17 años recibió un disparo en la cabeza y fue encontrado en estado crítico, sufriendo un paro cardíaco. Cuando fue trasladado al hospital, murió.

El incidente ocurrió en el área de juegos ubicada cerca de North Pine Lake Drive, donde agentes de la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Shelby respondieron alrededor de la 1:00 p.m.

Las autoridades indicaron que el sospechoso sería un hombre afroamericano que vestía una máscara de esquí y que huyó del lugar a alta velocidad en un vehículo Dodge Charger azul. Hasta el momento, no se ha confirmado si hay más personas involucradas.
