Un muerto y tres heridos tras tiroteo en el Crazy Mexican de Memphis

(LPL) – Una persona murió y otras tres resultaron heridas tras un tiroteo ocurrido durante la madrugada del domingo en el Crazy Mexican Sports Bar, ubicado en 6433 Winchester Road, en el sureste de Memphis.

De acuerdo con la Policía de Memphis, los agentes acudieron al establecimiento poco después de las 2:00 a.m. tras recibir un reporte de disparos. Al llegar, encontraron a dos hombres con heridas de bala. Uno de ellos fue declarado muerto en el lugar, mientras que el segundo fue trasladado a un hospital con lesiones que no ponían en peligro su vida.

Los investigadores determinaron que el tiroteo ocurrió después de una alteración física entre varias personas en el estacionamiento del negocio. Durante el enfrentamiento, un hombre habría sacado un arma y disparado antes de abandonar el lugar acompañado de una mujer.

Posteriormente, el sospechoso y la mujer llegaron en un vehículo particular a un hospital en Mississippi, donde ambos recibieron atención médica por heridas que no eran consideradas de gravedad. Los dos permanecen detenidos, según las autoridades.

La Policía continúa buscando a otro hombre presuntamente relacionado con el tiroteo. Según las autoridades, fue visto por última vez vestido con una camisa azul mientras escapaba en un sedán blanco.

El incidente ocurre meses después de otro hecho violento registrado en el mismo establecimiento. En marzo, un hombre fue acusado de utilizar una SUV para embestir a dos personas en el exterior del Crazy Mexican Sports Bar. El caso ocurrió también en el estacionamiento del negocio.

Las autoridades no han indicado que ambos incidentes estén relacionados.

One dead, three injured following shooting at Memphis’s Crazy Mexican

(LPL) – One person died and three others were injured following a shooting early Sunday morning at the Crazy Mexican Sports Bar, located at 6433 Winchester Road in southeast Memphis.

According to the Memphis Police Department, officers responded to the establishment shortly after 2:00 a.m. after receiving a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators determined that the shooting occurred following a physical altercation between several individuals in the business’s parking lot. During the confrontation, a man allegedly pulled out a gun and fired before fleeing the scene with a woman.

The suspect and the woman later arrived at a hospital in Mississippi in a private vehicle, where both received medical treatment for injuries considered non-serious. Both remain in custody, according to authorities.

Police are still searching for another man allegedly linked to the shooting. Authorities say he was last seen wearing a blue shirt and fleeing in a white sedan.

This incident comes months after another violent event at the same establishment. In March, a man was charged with using an SUV to strike two people outside the Crazy Mexican Sports Bar; that incident also took place in the business’s parking lot.

Authorities have not indicated that the two incidents are connected.
