Murió otro recluso en la cárcel del Condado de Shelby, ubicada en el 201 Poplar

(LPL/WREG) – Otro recluso falleció en la cárcel del condado de Shelby.

La muerte se reportó alrededor de las 10:20 a. m. del pasado lunes en la cárcel principal, ubicada en 201 Poplar, según informó el miércoles un portavoz de la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Shelby.

El recluso fue identificado por la Oficina de Investigación de Tennessee (TSB) como Daniel Neal, de 41 años.
Se está realizando una autopsia para determinar la causa de la muerte de Neal, según informó la TBI. A petición de la fiscalía, se solicitó a la agencia que investigara.
Una revisión de los registros de la cárcel y del tribunal del condado de Shelby realizada el miércoles no reveló la presencia de un Daniel Neal con la fecha de nacimiento proporcionada por la TBI.

A principios de este año, la SCSO informó que cuatro reclusos fallecieron bajo custodia en un corto período de tiempo.

Another inmate has died at the Shelby County Jail, located at 201 Poplar

(LPL/WREG) – Another inmate has died at the Shelby County jail.

The death was reported around 10:20 a.m. Monday at the main jail at 201 Poplar, a spokesperson for the Shelby County Sheriff’s office said Wednesday.

The inmate was identified by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation as Daniel Neal, 41.
An autopsy is being performed to determine Neal’s cause of death, TBI said. The agency was asked to investigate at the request of the district attorney’s office.
A check of Shelby County jail and court records Wednesday did not show a Daniel Neal with the date of birth provided by TBI.

Earlier this year, SCSO reported four inmates had died in custody within a short period of time.
