Nuevas imágenes muestran el momento en que presuntamente Yahir Mejía asesina a Erik Sandoval dentro de Wolfchase Galleria

(LPL) – En redes sociales está circulando un video del tiroteo mortal del pasado lunes en el Wolfchse Galleria, en Cordova, en donde presuntamente Yahir Mejía asesinó a Erik Sandoval.

En la filmación, se puede ver que un individuo, presuntamente Sandoval, entra a la tienda Village Mart y encara a Mejía, que se encontraba en compañía de una mujer. Se dicen algunas palabras y luego los dos salen de la tienda. Allí, se puede observar que siguen con la discusión y en un momento se logra ver que Sandoval golpea a Mejía, quien luego saca un arma y le dispara por lo menos en 3 ocasiones.

Al ver la situación, la acompañante de Mejía entra a la tienda asustada pero luego ambos se van de la escena del crimen.

Minutos más tarde, Mejía posteó un video en Facebook donde alegaba que todo lo hizo en defensa propia y que se iba a entregar. La policía indicó que arrestó a Mejía luego de una corta persecución a pie, cerca de la casa de su madre.

Mejía fue acusado de asesinato en segundo grado y ayer compareció por primera vez ante un juez.

Si el joven de 22 años es hayado culpable, pudiera enfrentar una condena entre 15 y 60 años en prisión.

New footage show the moment Yahir Mejía allegedly murdered Erik Sandoval inside Wolfchase Galleria

(LPL/WREG) – Footage of the fatal shooting last Monday at the Wolfchse Galleria in Cordova, where Yahir Mejía allegedly murdered Erik Sandoval, is circulating on social media.

In the video, an individual, presumably Sandoval, can be seen entering the Village Mart store and confronting Mejía, who was with a woman. They exchange a few words, and then the two leave the store. Inside, they continue arguing, and at one point, Sandoval is seen hitting Mejía, who then pulls out a gun and shoots him at least three times.

Seeing the situation, Mejía’s companion enters the store, frightened, but then both leave the scene of the crime.

Minutes later, Mejía posted a video on Facebook claiming that he acted in self-defense and that he would turn himself in. Police indicated that they arrested Mejía after a short foot chase near his mother’s house.

Mejía was charged with second-degree murder and appeared before a judge for the first time yesterday.

If the 22-year-old is found guilty, he could face a sentence of between 15 and 60 years in prison.
