Detienen a estudiante al intentar ingresar a escuela con drogas en su bolso

(LPL) – Una estudiante fue detenida cuando intentaba ingresar a la Booker T. Washington High School Booker T. Washington High School con drogas en su bolso, la mañana del lunes, informaron autoridades.

Según el reporte policial, la joven fue interceptada al pasar por el detector de metales en la entrada principal del plantel, luego de que un oficial y personal escolar percibieran un fuerte olor proveniente de ella y de su bolso. Al revisarlo, encontraron una bolsa transparente con una sustancia verde de origen vegetal que dio positivo a marihuana, además de tres bolsas vacías de envolturas de cigarillos.

Tras el hallazgo, la estudiante fue detenida momentáneamente, se le emitió una citación juvenil y posteriormente fue entregada a su tutor legal.

(LPL) – A student was detained as she attempted to enter Booker T. Washington High School Booker T. Washington High School with drugs in her purse on Monday morning, authorities said.

According to the police report, the student was stopped while passing through the metal detector at the school’s main entrance after an officer and school staff noticed a strong odor coming from her and her purse. A search revealed a clear bag containing a green leafy substance that tested positive for marijuana, along with three empty cigarillo wrapper bags.

Following the discovery, the student was briefly detained, issued a juvenile citation, and later released to her legal guardian.
