Hombre en estado crítico tras tiroteo cerca del Aeropuerto de Memphis

(LPL) – La Policía de Memphis investiga un tiroteo ocurrido la mañana del jueves en el área cercana al aeropuerto, que dejó a un hombre gravemente herido.

Según las autoridades, los oficiales respondieron alrededor de las 9:00 a.m. a reportes de disparos sobre Shelby Drive, cerca de Louis Carruthers Drive, en las inmediaciones del Aeropuerto Internacional de Memphis. Al llegar al lugar, encontraron a un hombre con heridas de bala, quien fue trasladado a un hospital en estado crítico.

La policía indicó que el sospechoso se desplazaba en una SUV color plata. Hasta el momento, no se han dado a conocer más detalles, ya que la investigación continúa en curso.

En la escena se reportó una fuerte presencia policial, con apoyo de la Guardia Nacional para bloquear algunas vías cercanas.

Man in Critical Condition Following Shooting Near Memphis Airport

(LPL) -Memphis Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday morning in the area near the airport, leaving a man critically injured.

According to authorities, officers responded around 9:00 a.m. to reports of shots fired on Shelby Drive, near Louis Carruthers Drive, in the vicinity of Memphis International Airport. Upon arriving at the scene, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds; he was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

Police indicated that the suspect was traveling in a silver SUV. As of now, no further details have been released, as the investigation remains ongoing.

A heavy police presence was reported at the scene, with support from the National Guard to block off several nearby roadways.
