Incendio intencional en mercado de pulgas de Frayser dejá un bombero herido

(LPL) – El Departamento de Bomberos de Memphis informó que un bombero resultó herido tras un incendio provocado ocurrido la mañana del lunes en el Frayser Flea Market. El siniestro se registró alrededor de las 9 a.m. en el inmueble ubicado en el 3228 de Millington Road, donde numerosas unidades acudieron para combatir las llamas.

Imágenes difundidas por el departamento muestran un incendio de gran magnitud, con una densa columna de humo visible en el área. Las autoridades indicaron que uno de los bomberos fue trasladado al Regional One Burn Center con lesiones leves y se espera que sea dado de alta en breve.

Los investigadores determinaron que el incendio fue causado intencionalmente. Al momento de la llegada de los equipos de emergencia, la estructura ya comenzaba a colapsar.

Arson fire at Frayser flea market leaves one firefighter injured

(LPL) – The Memphis Fire Department reported that a firefighter was injured following an arson fire early Monday morning at the Frayser Flea Market. The incident occurred around 9 a.m. at the property located at 3228 Millington Road, where multiple fire crews responded to battle the flames.

Photos released by the department show a large-scale fire with a thick plume of smoke visible throughout the area. Officials said one firefighter was transported to the Regional One Burn Center with minor injuries and is expected to be released shortly.

Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set. Fire crews stated that by the time they arrived on scene, the structure was already beginning to collapse.
