Tres hombres enmascarados abren fuego en gasolinera de Whitehaven; un hombre muere y una mujer resulta herida

(LPL) – La Policía de Memphis (MPD) busca a tres hombres enmascarados que abrieron fuego contra dos personas en una gasolinera del área de Whitehaven, ataque que dejó un hombre muerto y una mujer herida.

El tiroteo ocurrió la tarde del sábado en una estación de servicio ubicada en la cuadra 4100 de Elvis Presley Boulevard. Al llegar al lugar, los agentes encontraron a un hombre con múltiples heridas de bala. Fue trasladado de urgencia al hospital Regional One, donde falleció poco después. Una mujer que también recibió impactos de bala fue llevada al hospital en condición no crítica.

De acuerdo con la investigación preliminar, tres hombres con el rostro cubierto descendieron de un vehículo y comenzaron a disparar contra las víctimas antes de escapar del lugar. Hasta el momento, la policía no ha revelado el motivo del ataque ni la identidad de los sospechosos.

Three masked men open fire at Whitehaven gas station; one man dead, woman injured

(LPL) – The Memphis Police Department (MPD) is searching for three masked men who opened fire on two people at a gas station in the Whitehaven area, an attack that left one man dead and a woman injured.

The shooting occurred Saturday afternoon at a service station located in the 4100 block of Elvis Presley Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Regional One Hospital, where he died shortly thereafter. A woman who was also shot was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.

According to the preliminary investigation, three men with their faces covered exited a vehicle and began firing at the victims before fleeing the scene. So far, police have not disclosed a motive for the attack or the identities of the suspects.

Investigators are continuing to review surveillance footage and gather evidence to identify those responsible. There has been no information regarding whether the victims were specifically targeted or if there was a prior altercation.
