Encuentran a una mujer con heridas de bala frente a una gasolinera en Oakhaven

(LPL) – Una mujer fue encontrada con heridas de bala la madrugada de este martes frente a una gasolinera en el área de Oakhaven, lo que desató una investigación por parte del Departamento de Policía de Memphis (MPD).

Los agentes respondieron alrededor de las 4:45 a.m. a una llamada de emergencia en una estación Circle K, ubicada sobre East Shelby Drive, cerca de Tchulahoma Road. Al llegar, encontraron a la víctima en el exterior del establecimiento con al menos una herida de bala. Fue trasladada a un hospital, donde fue reportada en condición no crítica.

Durante las investigaciones, los detectives determinaron que la mujer no fue baleada en la gasolinera. De acuerdo con la información preliminar, el ataque ocurrió aproximadamente a una milla de distancia, en la zona de Applewood Cove, y posteriormente la víctima fue localizada frente al establecimiento.

La escena permaneció acordonada durante varias horas mientras los investigadores recopilaban evidencias. En el lugar también se observó un vehículo Hyundai gris que forma parte de la investigación.

Hasta el momento, la Policía de Memphis no ha informado sobre arrestos ni ha revelado las circunstancias que rodearon el tiroteo. El caso continúa bajo investigación.

Woman Found Shot Outside Oakhaven Gas Station

(LPL) – A woman was found suffering from gunshot wounds early Tuesday morning outside a gas station in the Oakhaven area, prompting an investigation by the Memphis Police Department (MPD).

Officers responded to an emergency call around 4:45 a.m. at a Circle K station located on East Shelby Drive, near Tchulahoma Road. Upon arrival, they found the victim outside the establishment with at least one gunshot wound. She was transported to a hospital, where she was reported to be in non-critical condition.

During the investigation, detectives determined that the woman was not shot at the gas station. According to preliminary information, the attack occurred approximately a mile away in the Applewood Cove area, and the victim was subsequently found outside the business.

The scene remained cordoned off for several hours while investigators gathered evidence. A gray Hyundai vehicle, which is part of the investigation, was also observed at the location.

So far, the Memphis Police have not announced any arrests or disclosed the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The case remains under investigation.
