Grupo especial de trabajo arresta a adolescente acusado de un tiroteo mortal en Soulsville

(LPL/WREG) – Un joven de 17 años fue arrestado por el Grupo Especial de Seguridad de Memphis (MSTF) y acusado de asesinato en primer grado el lunes, en relación con un tiroteo ocurrido en Soulsville, según informaron los Alguaciles Federales de Estados Unidos.

Los agentes indicaron que arrestaron al adolescente en la cuadra 3400 de Old Getwell Road, en la zona del aeropuerto, tras un incidente ocurrido en la cuadra 800 de East Alston Avenue el día de Navidad.
Según los Alguaciles Federales, el adolescente, junto con otras dos personas, entró en una residencia y disparó a la víctima varias veces en la parte superior del torso.

Los agentes no informaron si se realizaron otros arrestos en relación con este tiroteo.
El Grupo Especial de Seguridad de Memphis informó que realizó 128 arrestos y confiscó 26 armas de fuego ilegales durante el fin de semana festivo de Martin Luther King Jr.

El MSTF afirma que sus miembros han realizado 5417 arrestos y confiscado 879 armas de fuego ilegales desde que iniciaron esta iniciativa en septiembre de 2025.

Task force arrests teen charged in fatal Soulsville shooting

(LPL/WREG) – A 17-year-old was arrested by the Memphis Safe Task Force (MSTF) and charged with first-degree murder on Monday in connection to a Soulsville shooting, according to the United States Marshals.

Agents said they arrested the teen in the 3400 block of Old Getwell Road in the airport area after an incident in the 800 block of East Alston Avenue on Christmas.
According to the U.S. Marshals, the teenager, along with two other people entered a residence and shot a victim multiple times in the upper torso.

Agents did not say if any other arrests were made in connection to this shooting.
The Memphis Safe Task Force said they made 128 arrests and seized 26 illegal firearms over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend.

MSTF claims members have made 5,417 arrests and seized 879 illegal firearms since they started the initiative in September 2025.
