(LPL) – La policía de Memphis investiga un robo ocurrido en una gasolinera a finales de marzo y continúa la búsqueda de los responsables.

El hecho se registró la mañana del 29 de marzo, poco antes de las 8:00 a.m., en un centro de combustible Kroger ubicado en la zona de Truse Parkway y Poplar Avenue. Según las autoridades, dos hombres ingresaron al establecimiento y actuaron de manera coordinada.

Uno de los sospechosos brincó el mostrador y obligó al empleado a dirigirse hacia un cuarto de almacenamiento bajo amenazas, mientras el segundo permanecía vigilando la situación. Dentro del área, sustrajeron una cantidad considerable de cigarrillos.

Tras el robo, ambos huyeron en una camioneta pickup negra con rumbo desconocido.

La policía difundió descripciones de los individuos: uno vestía gorra de dos tonos, sudadera oscura con logotipo de U.S. Polo y pantalón deportivo; el otro llevaba gorra negra, sudadera oscura con gráficos y jeans azules.

Police have released descriptions of the individuals: one was wearing a two-tone cap, a dark sweatshirt with a U.S. Polo logo, and sweatpants; the other was wearing a black cap, a dark sweatshirt with graphics, and blue jeans.
