(LPL) – El Departamento de Policía de Memphis solicita la ayuda del público para localizar a un hombre sospechoso de cometer un robo la tarde del jueves 22 de enero de 2026 en una tienda Dollar Tree ubicada en el 1201 de Getwell Road.
Según el informe policial, el incidente ocurrió alrededor de las 3:55 p.m., cuando el sujeto ingresó al establecimiento, compró un artículo del área de congelados y continuó recorriendo la tienda. Minutos después regresó a la caja y pidió cambio de un billete de cinco dólares. Al abrirse la registradora, el hombre comenzó a sustraer dinero en efectivo y amenazó a la empleada, indicándole que no se moviera ni alertara a nadie o le dispararía.
El sospechoso huyó del lugar a pie con aproximadamente 200 dólares en efectivo.
La policía describe al individuo como un hombre afroamericano, de entre 30 y 40 años, con una estatura aproximada de entre 5’6” y 5’10”, complexión delgada a mediana y tez de media a oscura, con bigote y barba de candado claros. Al momento del robo vestía una sudadera azul con la frase “6THNBRHD / HOLD THE VISION” en el frente, pantalón negro y tenis Nike Air Max.

Memphis Police search for suspect in Dollar Tree robbery on Getwell Road
(LPL) – The Memphis Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man suspected of committing a robbery Thursday afternoon, January 22, 2026, at a Dollar Tree store located at 1201 Getwell Road.
According to police, the incident occurred around 3:55 p.m. when the suspect entered the store, purchased an item from the frozen foods section, and continued shopping. He later returned to the register and asked for change for a five-dollar bill. When the cash register was opened, the man began grabbing money and threatened the employee, telling her not to move or alert anyone or he would shoot her.
The suspect fled the store on foot with approximately $200 in cash.
Police describe the suspect as a Black male between 30 and 40 years old, approximately 5’6” to 5’10” tall, with a thin to medium build and a medium to dark complexion. He has a light mustache and goatee. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a blue hoodie with the words “6THNBRHD / HOLD THE VISION” on the front, black pants, and Nike Air Max shoes.
