Mujer arrestada por disparar contra otro vehículo tras discusión en Hickory Hill

(LPL) – Una mujer fue arrestada tras presuntamente abrir fuego contra otra conductora durante un incidente de tránsito ocurrido la madrugada del sábado en Hickory Hill.

El incidente ocurrió alrededor de las 2:00 a.m. del sábado en Winchester Road. La víctima declaró que se encontraba detenida en un semáforo en rojo cuando una Jeep Cherokee, conducida por Diamond Terazes, de 31 años, se colocó frente a su vehículo y bloqueó su paso. Ambas intercambiaron palabras y la víctima decidió avanzar para alejarse.

De acuerdo con la denuncia, Terazes la siguió y, poco después, la víctima escuchó cerca de diez detonaciones. Aterrada, se agachó dentro de su auto y continuó manejando por Winchester, mientras la camioneta continuaba persiguiéndola.

La conductora del Nissan Altima se detuvo al notar que su vehículo presentaba problemas para circular. Fue entonces cuando descubrió daños en la llanta delantera del lado del pasajero y en el parachoques trasero.

Mientras tanto, un testigo logró alertar a un agente de la Patrulla de Carreteras de Tennessee, informándole que desde una Jeep Cherokee habían disparado contra un Nissan Altima y que el vehículo sospechoso se desplazaba hacia el oeste por Winchester.

El agente localizó y detuvo a Terazes, quien afirmó no recordar el incidente. En el registro de la camioneta, los oficiales encontraron un casquillo calibre 9 mm debajo del asiento. Además, testigos identificaron a la sospechosa en una rueda de reconocimiento.

Terazes fue ingresada en la cárcel el mismo sábado con una fianza de 30.000 dólares y enfrenta cargos por asalto agravado.

Woman Arrested for Shooting at Another Vehicle After Dispute in Hickory Hill

(LPL) – A woman was arrested after allegedly opening fire on another driver during a traffic incident early Saturday morning in Hickory Hill.

The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. Saturday on Winchester Road. The victim stated that she was stopped at a red light when a Jeep Cherokee, driven by 31-year-old Diamond Terazes, pulled in front of her vehicle and blocked her path. The two exchanged words, and the victim decided to move forward.
According to the complaint, Terazes followed her, and shortly after, the victim heard about 10 gunshots. Terrified, she ducked inside her car and continued driving down Winchester, while the SUV continued to pursue her.

The driver of the Nissan Altima stopped when she noticed her vehicle was having trouble steering. It was then that she discovered damage to the front passenger-side tire and rear bumper.

Meanwhile, a witness managed to alert a Tennessee Highway Patrol officer, informing him that a Nissan Altima had been shot from a Jeep Cherokee and that the suspect vehicle was traveling west on Winchester.

The officer located and detained Terazes, who claimed not to recall the incident. During a search of the truck, officers found a 9mm shell casing under the seat. Witnesses also identified the suspect in a lineup.
Terazes was booked into jail that same Saturday on $30,000 bail and faces aggravated assault charges.
